Is this tool really free and does it use external APIs?
Yes. Everything runs on this server using PHP's GD library and, when available, ImageMagick. No image data is ever sent to a third-party API.
How long are my files kept?
Every uploaded and processed file is automatically deleted 10 minutes after it's created. A background cleanup script also runs every 5 minutes as a safety net.
Which image formats are supported?
JPG, PNG, WEBP, GIF, AVIF, BMP, TIFF, and HEIC (when your server's ImageMagick build includes the HEIC delegate).
Does converting PNG to WEBP or AVIF keep transparency?
Yes, transparency is preserved when the target format supports an alpha channel (PNG, WEBP, AVIF, GIF).
